Biometric Visitor Pass

Mridi Logic Private Limited. (MLPL) has developed a very unique Visitor photo pass management system which caters to the need of huge organizations where there are multiple entry and exits, the number of visitors is very high and the identity of the visitor becomes critical amongst the huge number of employees working in that organization. It is also necessary for the security of the company in general that all the visitors’ records must be maintained properly for the future and easy to retrieve. MLPL has developed a very high secure application which does exactly the same. Whenever a visitor visits the organization, the visitor’s biometric (IRIS/FINGER PRINT) is taken, his records are entered into the system which is stored in the main database for future reference and then a pass with unique number is generated for that visitor. MLPL has also incorporated a unique method by which a genuine and regular visitor to that organization can be assigned a unique ID, by which the issue of his Visitor Pass can be made faster by retrieving the information from the main database through biometric authentication instead of re-entering the data. The visitor has to identify with biometric device for all future visits to the organization.

MLPL software team has incorporated a unique report designing tool using which, the reports of the visitors can be designed according to the requirements of the organization. By default some of the general reports are given, but apart from that the organization can design their own report using the required fields, in the desired format and sorted accordingly. All the details entered while generating a Visitor Pass can be used for validations and report can be generated accordingly. The beauty of this application is that a visitor whose visitor pass is generated at a particular gate can exit through any of the other gates and yet his details can be viewed with accuracy and his pass details can be stored. At any given time, using the reports feature, the security and the management authorities can have the reports of which visitor is within the organization complex and who has left the organization.

With this application, the employees who forgot their ID card on that particular day can also be given a temporary photo ID pass using biometric, whose reports can be passed on to the Payroll dept for further course of action.

The MLPL software team has incorporated a very high security feature in this application where the user generating the Visitor Photo Pass can be assigned rights as to what they can do in the system and application, thereby restricting the mistakes on the user’s part.
